Zack Allen

Zack’s drumming style exudes power and speed, which serves him well in his metal and prog metal musical projects, but he’s not limited to hard rock! Zack thinks of drumming as an art form and loves to explore new drumming styles. He enjoys most musical genres from classic and alternative rock and hardcore metal to country, pop, and atmopsheric shoegaze.

As a teacher, Zack is passionate about inspiring others, and he’s a great choice for students of all ages, including younger kids, where his gentle approach shines. Advanced students seeking to push their limits will benefit from Zack’s experience and precision as well, taking their drumming to new heights. (Zack’s advanced students are the backbone of the Vivid School of Music Rock Band program.)

Zack tailors his drum lessons to the student’s musical interests and skill level, focusing on technique and musicality, while also encouraging students to explore diverse genres for a more well-rounded musical foundation.
