About Bret Crow

Bret Crow, a Texas-based composer and bassist for over 25 years, is a familiar face on social media, with two million followers between Tik-Tok, Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. Bret currently performs with several bands, including The Bret Crow Show, Time Knife, The Lava Rocks (Live Band Karaoke), Star Party, Primish (Primus tribute), and Strong Work – and also stars in the Amazon Prime Video series Bandmates.

Bret’s love for music is eclectic and all-encompassing, and his music is a unique fusion of ska punk, funk, and avant-garde musical projects. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a major in composition, Bret’s comedic style, characterized as silly, eccentric, and improvisational, draws influences from legends like Weird Al Yankovic, Frank Zappa, and The Aquabats.

His primary instrument is bass, but Bret teaches bass lessons, guitar lessons (acoustic and electric), and ukulele lessons, as well as music theory.
